Opening weekend

Saturday 20 June
Sunday 21 June

The opening of As Seen Below will be marked with a special weekend programme where you can join us to celebrate the inauguration of our new Skyspace.

There will be goodie bags for the first 150 children who visit the space.

For children

Bring the family and let the work unfold through play, immersion and shared wonder.

Until the end of July, Level 1 will host a children's universe about light and colour created by A Secret Club. You can also watch fun-facts on film on Level 3.

The activities are sponsored by Panduro as ARoS Creative Partner.

Everyone under the age of 18 has free admission to the museum.

Body and art in As Seen Below

Movement, presence and immersion. Let art and body merge and meet the work with renewed attention and heightened senses.

Literature Conversations

To celebrate the opening, we offer a special literature programme where Anne Glad, together with prominent Danish authors, explores literature that offers new perspectives on As Seen Below.

The conversations are sponsored by Aarhuus Stiftstidendes Fond.

Talks and lectures

Learn more about As Seen Below through exciting talks and conversations. Sit back and let distinctive voices unfold the many layers of the work.

Concerts in As Seen Below

Enjoy a special experience in As Seen Below when we invite you to concerts at Twilight at Sunset. During August, we will host a total of three Sunset Sessions presented by cultural organisations from Aarhus. At Sunset Sessions, As Seen Below is enveloped in a special light while the room is filled with music.
