Ovartaci by ARoS

The artist Ovartaci (Louis Marcussen 1894-1985) was a remarkable person with a long artistic production behind him. He lived 56 of his 91 years at the Psychiatric Hospital in Risskov. ARoS and Museum Ovartaci have collaborated on a pop-up exhibition of Ovartaci's art in one of the city's beautiful retail spaces. The idea is to give the public easy access to a part of Ovartaci's oeuvre, but also to shed light on the cultural heritage that may be disappearing.
