Rules for photography, facilities for the disabled, wardrobe and everything you need to know before your visit

From May 2nd: Only access to ARoS via Aros Allé / the car park due to the upcoming expansion of the museum. The entrance can be reached by stairs or the elevator for people with walking difficulties. 


It is allowed to photograph exhibits, art and architecture for private use. Sharing photos on social media from private profiles is also allowed. It is not allowed to bring photo stands, drones and the like.

Food and drinks

There is a large selection of food and drinks at the café. 

Eating, drinking or smoking is not allowed in the museum galleries or on the roof terrace.


Free handicap parking at ARoS Allé at the entrance. 

An elevator leads up to the entrance from the parking lot, and elevators are available between floors. Handicap toilets are also available near ART Café and at level 3 near the auditorium.
Wheelchairs and strollers can be borrowed during your visit at ARoS. Refer to the staff in Information. 


Connect for free at ARoS Marked, level 4.


With exception of guidedogs it is not allowed to bring animals on ARoS.


There is a wardrobe with the possibility of locked lockers. To use our wardrobes a 20-krone coin is required. It is delivered back after use.

Baby carriers

It is possible to borrow baby carriers at the Information by submitting ID.​


ARoS reserves the right to expel guests for unwanted behavior.
