Andelskassen enters as a strategic partner in a landmark year for ARoS, culminating in June with the opening of As Seen Below – The Dome, a Skyspace by James Turrell. The opening completes the major expansion of the museum, which also includes the new Salling Gallery and a brand-new foyer. 

From 1 February, the foyer placed at the entrance to James Turrell’s Skyspace, will be named the Andelskassen Foyer. The special sunrise and sunset sessions that can be enjoyed in As Seen Below will all start and conclude in the Andelskassen Foyer.

That is why we enter strong partnerships with organisations that enable us to engage in important communities that benefit the citizens of Aarhus. I am proud that we will now lend our name to the foyer leading into James Turrell’s overwhelming Skyspace. It is an artwork that truly deserves to be seen,” says Jan Pedersen, CEO of Andelskassen. 

Andelskassen becomes one of ARoS’ two main partners. As part of the partnership, Andelskassen will also join ARoS Art Club – the museum’s business network, which brings companies together across sectors in a community centred on art. 

The strategic partnership will run until 1 February 2031. 

The new foyer is already open to the public and offers a unique view of Your rainbow panorama at the top of ARoS.
