ARoS Junior

ARoS Junior is situated on 3rd floor of ARoS museum of modern art – it is a special section for children and young adults (under the age of 16) where they can put their creativity and artistic abilities to work.

ARoS presents theme and techniques of art to all the inquiring and curious children and young people wanting to be inspired and learn more about art in a funny and unorthodox way.

The ARoS Junior section is divided into two rooms: a Junior Workshop and a Junior Gallery.

The Junior Gallery presents the children with exhibitions that are thematically connected to the current special exhibition, or to a part of the museum's permanent collection, but in a way that is more in the perspective of a child.

The Junior Workshop helps children and young adults to explore the world of art hands on by providing them with a space filled with tools and supplies for their disposal. The Junior Workshop promotes inspiration and creativity by giving assignments connected to a certain theme.

The opening hours of the Junior Gallery are the same as the opening hours of the museum.

Tuesday: Only preordered workshops  10:00-12:30 

Wednesday: 14.00-17.00 (preordered, 10:00-12:30)

Thursday: 14.00-17.00 (preordered, 10:00-12:30)

Friday: 14.00-17.00 (preordered, 10:00-12:30)

Sunday and holidays: 11.00-16.00

Monday and saturday closed.
